Theory: The course begins with theoretical knowledge development, which can be completed through self-study using the PADI Open Water Diver manual, eLearning modules, or traditional classroom sessions. Topics covered include dive physics, physiology, equipment, diving procedures, and safety protocols.
Confined Water Training: Participants undergo confined water training sessions in a pool or shallow water environment under the guidance of a certified PADI Instructor. Here, they learn essential scuba skills such as equipment assembly, mask clearing, regulator recovery, buoyancy control, and emergency procedures.
Open Water Dives: After completing the theory and confined water training, participants embark on a series of open water dives to apply their skills and knowledge in real diving conditions. Typically conducted in natural bodies of water such as lakes, quarries, or oceans, these dives allow students to practice essential dive skills, explore underwater environments, and gain confidence in their abilities.
